Hi! Im getting a 1.5 fish tank for a crowntail betta! I KNOW they thrive in a 5 gallon tank, but i really cant get that. Right now he is in a 1 gallon tank thingy. I wanna add decor into the tank. The dorm allows pets so I brought my cocker spaniel so I would like a cute way to incorporate her bed and crate. I can replace any of the furniture with my own so I bought a glass, L shaped desk so I can have my computer on one side and I have room to write on the other. My school allows candles and I love candles. I usually choose scents based on the season so now I'm looking for cinnamon, apple, pumpkin, vanilla, etc. I kinda want my room to feel like a garden but I don't want all the bright random colors that most decor aimed at dorm dwellers feature. I can paint my dorm as long as the paint is low or no VOCs. We have medium colored laminate wood floors and I want espresso furniture.

People keep asking what our "theme" is and what our colors are. I don't know what to tell them. Given these details..what would you say? Spring Wedding, early afternoon ceremony and reception, semi casual, outside in a garden or park. We are using the landscape of the park or garden as our eye candy...so we will be doing little decorating ourselves. Simple decor. All white tables with white linens, white chairs, white place setting. I want to grow our own flowers in my garden. The day of the wedding, pick the flowers and put them in glass vases and jars with water. These will be the centerpieces for the reception. Every table may have different color flowers- yellow flowers, red, pink, orange, red, purple...whatever grows from my garden. The cake will be white with flowers cascading down..but haven't made a decision what color the flowers on the cake will be. Appetizerers served (not a full meal), cake, punch. so what should i tell people when they ask about the theme and color scheme? thanks

Baby pink, soft gray, pale aqua, peach orange, lavender, mint green, black, white and champagne. Please don't tell me I have too many colors, as I'm getting married in Spring and want a spring color palette that matches both my personality and my fiance. We're going with a watercolor tie-dyed theme for our garden ceremony. We are very fun and outgoing sort of people and we love tons of colors paired with shades (such as gray, black, etc). Our dream isn't to have the traditional white wedding... its to have a fun day that represents us as individuals blending together and us as a couple. At the moment, we're a bit stuck on what types of decorations to use in the garden as it's already a decoration by itself. We're having a traditional pagan handfasting, so some pagan-ish ideas would be great. =) Also decoration ideas for the reception would be great as well. Our reception will be held at our home, as its a very informal dinner event, with just a few close friends. For the reception, we're concentrating more on our Italian heritages for inspiration with hints of our love for medieval/fantasy art.
