Open Question: Which Roomba should I buy?

I've read so many forum, shops, and reviews that I don't even know what to do anymore. I'm looking for some suggestion on which roomba to buy as I do have an open floor plan. There is supposed to be a line and a wall to close off the office and the masterbed, but I couldn't get it to show for some reason. I would like to find a roomba that would fit this plan. I would love to get the whole house clean, but the place I'm most concern about is the Kitchen and Family+Living rooms. It would be great to find a roomba that has enough intelligent (e.g. Lighthouse and Virtual Wall) and battery juice to do the job without me carrying it around. --Where best to put the roomba? --Is roomba smart enough to know about the open-floor plan between the Kitchen, Family+Living, and Office to do a thorough cleaning job?--Or is it just going to run for 35 minutes or so and then return to base. --If roomba is not smart enough to do the cleaning job of the three offset rooms, then my plan would be to buy a roomba with lighthouse and virtual walls. My plan would be to leave/start the roomba in the Family+Living room, put a lighthouse at E2 and E3, and Virtual-Wall at E1. I could potentially buy more lighthouses to put in front of Masterbed and Room1 so that the roomba can go in there as well. --I was looking at the 610, but it's crazily expensive, plus it doesn't have the aerovac-bin. It has the max mode (2 years warranty and room-to-room navigation), but I believe that you can only use max-mode manually and can't put it in the schedule. Nevertheless, max mode is convenient when I just want it to run around to do cleaning until the battery die. --I'm considering the 370 as well, since it has lighthouse. I would have to give up the max-mode and buy the aerovac-bin. If roomba actually covers the open floor well, then I could just use the lighthouse for Room1 and Masterbed room.--This would be the best option considering the scheduling convenience and price. --The 550 from costco sales for $250, meaning that I could buy two of these with the same price as the 610. The problem with this one is that room-to-room navigation is not supported with this model, as it has Auto Virtual Wall and this model is 551001.

Open Question: Why does my roomba keep going in circles?

I have cleaned all areas known. Is there something I can do or do I have to have a repair shop do it? I've cleaned all the internal parts of the vac. I place it on the floor of any empty room, no obstructions, and the first thing is the tone doesn't sound right then after that is keeps going in circles in the same spot. This is a model from a couple years ago, no remote or anything. I have gone over the manual and can't get a straight answer to resolve. I am looking for legitimate answers only please!

So I'm trying to find a good name for my boyfriend's Roomba who he claims "vacuums like a retarded six year old" LOL. I need to find a good name for the Roomba that fits that description. I think the Roomba is a girl, but I am also open to boy names.

Resolved Question: My roomba's brushes stopped sweeping. Can i Fix him?

Got got a new Roomba 430 for christmas and the sweeping brushes stopped sweeping i used it yesterday and they worked fine but today they wont spin. I clean my Roomba as much as i possible can he is very clean no hairs or dirt in him. The Roomba runs and the vacuum works fine but the brushes don't spin and pick up debris. I am upset that he is dying already please help me fix him my room is getting dirtier by the minute.

Resolved Question: Customizable Roomba in the future?

Do you think that there will be a Roomba vacuum cleaner that iRobot will create in which you can customize with your own voice? You know, like you can record your own voice into it into segments so that it will let you know what it's doing? I'll give an example: After the Roomba asks you what to say when it will enter into "Clean" mode, you tell it the specific answer with your own voice. Then when it goes into "Clean" mode, it will respond with your voice. Any chance that iRobot will come up with that Roomba idea?

How well do they work? Not sure if it's spelled correct, but I am talking about the small vacuum that you charge up & it vacuums a room.
