so my roomba now just quickly flashes green when i press the power button instead of not even turning on at all (accomplishment?) i did the roomba 72 hour deep charge 3 times and still nothing. why does the roomba battery fail? and is there any other way to reset the battery that could make it work? ohhh well now it doesnt even flash green. wohoo well the green flashes right after being charged....

I vacuum daily (3 cats, 1 puppy) to keep my house clean and pet hair free. I'm thinking about getting the iRobot Roomba 560 pet series vacuum to help with the daily vacuuming. Obviously I'll still vacuum on weekends/when needed. But I'd like the cleaning load to be easier. What are the good/bad things about the robot? How often do you have to buy brushes? What are some things about the vacuum that they don't tell you? The cheapest I've found so far is $246 (refurbished) + shipping (I live in Alaska) Or $369 free shipping and free replenish kit What do you think?

I know they shed during fall and spring, but how long does the process last? my house doesn't have carpet, i was hoping a roomba robot can pick up her hair, any experiences? thanks!
